Public Pool: Nostalgic Branding with a Fresh Splash
Published Oct 16, 2025
Nashville-based studio Perky Bros has created this vibrant and nostalgic identity for Public Pool, a brand that sells thoughtfully designed poolside goods, from sunscreen and towels to laid-back apparel like caps, t-shirts and hoodies.
Inspired by the carefree spirit of 1980s community pools, the branding celebrates inland summers and local hangouts while avoiding coastal clichés. A bold, float-inspired wordmark and off-center color palette channel the fun and spontaneity of a summer afternoon, while simple packaging and stationery with dome-embossed typography add a premium touch. The quirky pigeon mascot, used across print and digital materials, is a clever nod to the brand’s urban roots and inclusive spirit.
