Night, Light & Speed: Photos by Lisa Metzger-Pegau
Published Feb 29, 2024
German architect and visual artist Lisa Metzger-Pegau captured the essence of light and speed in her striking abstract series, “Night, Light and Speed”. These vibrant images were shot at an amusement park after sundown, transforming everyday sights into a mesmerizing spectacle of colors and movement.
The series is an absolute visual feast, featuring vibrant neon hues, blurry compositions and trails of light captured by Lisa’s keen eye. The images are so rich in color and texture that they almost resemble bold, abstract paintings rather than conventional photographs.
The incorporation of vibrant colors and dynamic movement through an abstract perspective is not confined to just this specific collection, it is a stylistic choice that is prevalent throughout her entire body of work.
