Mixed Media Paintings by Rita Quattrocchi
Published Dec 2, 2024
Rita Quattrocchi is an Italian artist who creates powerful mixed media artworks on paper using mainly oil and graphite. Her pieces are an exploration of emotions, childhood memories and the subtle beauty of fleeting everyday moments.
Rita began her creative career in children’s illustration, but it didn’t take long for her to realize her work was more than just storytelling, it was deeply personal. Drawing from her own experiences and reflections on innocence and human connection, she creates intriguing figures that feel raw and authentic.
Over the years, her talent has gained well-deserved recognition across Europe. Rita’s work has been featured multiple times at the prestigious International Children’s Illustration Exhibition in Sarmede, and she’s also exhibited in galleries in Genoa, Cremona, Berlin and Denmark.
