Mid-Century Car Posters by Michael Crampton
Published Jun 1, 2026
Connecticut-based illustrator and designer Michael Crampton channels the glamour of mid-century automotive advertising in this series of vintage-inspired car posters.
The collection places classic models from Porsche, Jaguar, Ford, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Volkswagen, Chevrolet and others on sunlit coastal roads, alpine passes, race circuits and stylized city streets. Each composition pairs sharp vehicle silhouettes with textured color fields, bold typography and an old travel-poster aesthetic, moving through locations from La Côte d’Azur and Las Vegas to Palm Springs and the Pacific Coast Highway.
