Mooncake Packaging Design by Zhu Chao

Published Jun 22, 2020

Beijing-based art director and designer Zhu Chao created this beautiful packaging set for Matchall mooncake.

“The design of the gift box was inspired by the stone mill used to grind matcha. Following the structure and shape of the stone mill, we designed the box into a two-layer rotating mechanism. By turning it, the round cutout displays messages and different phases of the moon for a more interactive experience.”
