LEGO Adidas Superstar by Leta Sobierajski
Published Jul 14, 2023
Brooklyn-based artist Leta Sobierajski worked in collaboration with LEGO and Adidas Originals on a reinterpretation of the iconic Adidas Superstar shoes to celebrate the launch of a new LEGO set inspired by the classic sneakers.
Since its debut as a basketball shoe in 1969, the Superstar has gained immense popularity and is now considered a must-have in the world of streetwear, transcending its original purpose.
Leta used the shoe’s original structure as a blank canvas to produce a remix of the classic silhouette which includes layered visual elements that expand beyond the sneaker’s original shape.
