Label Legends: The Striking Packaging Work of Estudio ARGO
Published Jul 21, 2025
From intricately illustrated rum labels to flame-embellished bottles of cognac, the packaging designs of Estudio ARGO are anything but ordinary. Based in Mendoza, Argentina, this award-winning creative studio specializes in bold, storytelling-rich visuals that help their clients stand out.
Some of our favorite pieces from their portfolio include the label for The Rum 28 Company, featuring lush tropical scenes and beautifully ornate lettering, and the Malavida Gin series, where each variation centers around a distinct bird illustration rendered in styles ranging from comic-inspired to punk rock to delicately botanical. Another standout is their work for Bonzo Cognac, an unforgettable design where a flaming head figure takes center stage, wrapped in molten textures that give the bottle a sculptural, fiery edge.
