If Google Made Over-Ear Headphones, They Might Just Look Like This
Published Sep 22, 2025
Industrial designer Sidhant Patnaik imagines what Google’s first pair of over-ear headphones might look like with his conceptual Google Pixel Headphones project.
Google’s ever-evolving lineup of tech products continues to grow, but they still haven’t released full-size headphones. That’s why Sidhant decided to explore that gap through a conceptual design exercise, reinterpreting the brand’s familiar visual language in a new form factor. The result is super sleek and undeniably Google, with soft forms, friendly curves, and playful pops of color that echo the Pixel phone lineup, Pixel Buds, and Nest devices.
Sidhant’s vision perfectly captures Google’s core design values with material honesty, subtle textile details, and clean metal accents that make the product feel instantly recognizable as part of the Pixel family. It’s a compelling look at how Google might one day expand its audio range beyond earbuds, and it feels so natural, we wish it already existed.
