Hell Awaits: Macabre Illustrations by Manuel Cetina
Published Aug 15, 2024
“Hell Awaits” is a haunting series by art director and illustrator Manuel Cetina featuring bizarre depictions of creepy crawlies with unsettling mutations. From insects with eyes on their backs to creatures with human skulls replacing their heads, Manuel’s work is a masterclass in macabre creativity.
The entire series is rendered in a retro aesthetic, using a limited range of colors set against a bright red background, which heightens the sense of unease in these nightmarish visions.
If you’d like to discover more of Manuel Cetina’s creations, take a look at his portfolio on Behance or give him a follow on Instagram.
