Geometric Illustrations by Tinna Halldorsdottir
Published May 19, 2026
Iceland-based graphic designer and illustrator Tinna Halldorsdottir creates animals, objects and abstract scenes from crisp geometric forms, layered colours and carefully controlled compositions. Her work has a strong graphic punch, with birds, frogs, cats, objects and symbols emerging from overlapping shapes and textured halftone surfaces.
Tinna describes problem-solving as a central part of her creative process, exploring the limits of form and colour to find unexpected visual outcomes. That approach comes through clearly in these pieces, where simple shapes are pushed into complex arrangements without losing their clarity. Her interest in animal rights, environmental issues, sustainability and minimalism also runs through the work, especially in projects like Endangered Birds, where playful forms carry a more serious message.
