Gal Yosef Reimagines Pokémon with Luxury Brands & Pop Culture References
Published Sep 2, 2025
New York-based 3D artist and CG director Gal Yosef has put his unique spin on the Pokémon world with an eye-catching series of digital illustrations. Known for his hyperreal style and playful twists on pop culture, he reinterprets fan-favorite characters in amusing scenarios that combine luxury, surrealism and humor.
Some of the pieces lean into high-fashion parody, featuring Pikachu, Squirtle and Bulbasaur accessorized with Supreme, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci-inspired Poké Balls. Others take a more humorous approach: Snorlax sits happily beside McDonald’s-themed Poké Balls, Pikachu stuck inside one surrounded by dollar bills, and a hilarious group shot of classic Pokémon all squished together in a packed frame.
You can explore more of Gal Yosef’s digital creations on ArtStation, Instagram and Behance.
