Everywhere At the End of Time: Photos by Brendon Burton
Published Oct 27, 2023
Photographer Brendon Burton has embarked on a visually stunning and emotionally evocative journey through North America’s abandoned landscapes with his ongoing documentary-style series, “Everywhere At the End of Time”. The project is a poignant exploration of forgotten spaces, capturing the eerie beauty and melancholy of desolation.
Brendon’s work is a visual archaeology of sorts, revealing fragments of human presence and experiences scattered across the great empty plains of North Dakota, Saskatchewan, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. Behind each image, a narrative can be pieced together from the remnants left behind in these once thriving, now deserted places.
As the series continues to evolve, we hope to see more captivating images from Brendon’s travels. Each new addition to “Everywhere At the End of Time” promises a further exploration into the forgotten corners of North America, continuing the narrative of abandonment and time’s relentless march forward.
