South African artist Ferdi B Dick has once again taken his work to a monumental scale with his latest piece at the Zhan Jiang Garden City in China. “Embrace the Amazing Whale” is a larger-than-life stainless steel scultpure which depicts a giant whale emerging from the water.

The artist created the impressive design by taking subtle references from inflatable tubes, infusing his 8-meter-high sculpture with a sense of buoyancy.
