abxylute 3D One: The World’s First Glasses-Free 3D PC Gaming Handheld

To stand out in the crowded handheld market these days, you have to come up with something truly unique and special – and that’s exactly what abxylute has done with their brand new 3D One PC gaming handheld.

Developed in partnership with Tencent’s innovation lab, the 3D One brings the “Sunday Dragon” concept from CES 2025 into reality, letting players experience AAA and retro titles (including 3DS games, of course), in immersive 3D, no glasses required. According to the company, users will be able to seamlessly switch between 2D and 3D modes with a simple toggle.

Featuring a custom 11-inch 2.5K 120Hz display, next-generation real-time eye tracking and powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, the 3D One was developed specifically with high-definition, low-latency 3D gameplay in mind.

“Rendering glasses-free 3D video is easy; gaming is extremely hard. Within a single second, the system must break down each frame into dozens of interlaced perspectives, which requires massive computing power.”

“We believe today’s advancements in display tech, content availability, and AI acceleration finally make high-quality glasses-free 3D gaming not only possible, but genuinely exciting,” says CEO Donald Zhang.

abxylute aims to have more than 50 Steam games optimized for 3D by the end of November, and they’ll keep adding support for more titles on an ongoing basis.

The device also doubles as a 3D tablet for entertainment and productivity. The company says its AI-powered depth engine can convert any media into 3D in real time, offering an entirely new way to enjoy not only games, but also movies, home videos, photos and creative projects.

The abxylute 3D One is launching today on Kickstarter with an early bird price of $1,499. The first batch of units is set to ship in December, with the remaining ones going out in February. You can also learn more about the device on abxylute’s official website.
