Duetti: Interactive Art Installation by Daily tous les jours

“Duetti” is a multisensory and interactive public art installation which is currently on display at the 5Vie Headquarters in Milan, during Milan Design Week.

Created by Daily tous les jours, a Montreal-based studio known for their interactive works that bring people together in unique and meaningful ways, Duetti was developed to explore the potential of integrating therapeutic insights into the fabric of urban design. This immersive installation encourages viewers to reflect about a significant question:

“Can interactive urban furniture help us live with our anxious times?”

Duetti is comprised of two urban archetypes that turn ordinary actions into extraordinary experiences. The first is a bench that not only rocks but also plays choral music, and the second, a bollard that transforms mundane walks into rhythmic dances. These elements are designed to be activated by the public. As people move around and engage with them, their synchronized movements create harmonies, encouraging impromptu compositions and fostering a sense of collaboration among strangers.
