Color-Soaked Visual Narratives by Clémence Gouy
Published Jan 23, 2026
French artist and designer Clémence Gouy is back with a series of bold, saturated illustrations. Her work centers on people and physical presence, using everyday scenes as a base, then sharpening them through exaggerated gesture, framing and contrast.
Color plays a huge role in Clémence’s creative toolkit. She uses bright pinks, yellows, blues, and purples with intent, giving each composition sharp clarity and visual momentum. Clean shapes, bold silhouettes and carefully limited details ensure that even the most complex scenes are easy to understand.
This is our second time featuring Clémence on the grid, following our previous article here, and we can’t get enough of her captivating work. To explore more of her illustrations and projects, visit her website.
