Cristina Pagnoncelli is a Brazilian based designer, muralist and visual artist who has gained international recognition for her handcrafted lettering murals. She works mainly with lettering and illustration on urban art projects, book covers and chalk lettering.
Pagnoncelli’s inspiration for her murals comes from her love of typography and the way it can be used to express feelings and ideas. She works with a range of different mediums, and the use of chalk on specific projects allows her to create detailed designs featuring expressive lettering, beautiful flourishes and soft shading.
In addition to creating these amazing murals, Pagnoncelli also offers an online course on “Chalk Lettering for Murals”. In this course she teaches students how to create their own unique murals using chalk as a medium. She provides step-by-step instructions on how to design the letters, choose the right colors, apply the chalk correctly and other important techniques for creating beautiful murals.
