UK-based illustrator and designer Fiona McDonnell has created a vibrant suite of illustrations for The National Archives in London, reimagining the past through a fresh, youthful lens.
Tasked with making history feel relevant for students, Fiona combined her signature comic book-inspired style with a lively color palette of bright pinks, greens, oranges, light blues and browns. The result is a striking collection of portraits, historical scenes and playful icons that invite younger audiences to explore the stories held within the archives.
