“Hailing from Rio’s suburbs and a fan of popular culture, La Minna’s illustrations are known for their simple compositions and vibrant color palettes. She is influenced by the works of artists such as Djanira da Motta, Heitor dos Prazeres, Di Cavalcanti, and seeks inspiration from thinkers like Luiz Antonio Simas.
La Minna also creates personal illustrations, which usually address Brazilian culture and religions, gender topics and LGBTQ+ rights.”
