Boos Christmas Card by Luminous Design
Published Nov 3, 2023
Greek studio Luminous has a knack for designing interesting and eye-catching Christmas cards. This year, they have taken this holiday tradition to a new level, creating a unique set of sailboat-inspired cards for Boos.
The bold design was inspired by a traditional Greek custom called ‘Karavaki’, which involves decorating little boats instead of Christmas trees for the holidays.
“On the occasion of Boos’ 50 years of operation, we created and decorated our own ship, an interactive self-supporting greeting card, which conveys a message of evolution and progress with dual implications, speaking both for the new year and for the company’s operation in the next years.”
The custom-made, self-standing design adds another level of sophistication to the cards, allowing them to stand as sculptural pieces of art.
