Bold, Story-Driven Illustrations by Daria Lada

We’re always on the lookout for unique creative voices, and Ukrainian illustrator Daria Lada is definitely one of them. Now based in Canada, Daria recently reached out to share her work with us, and we’re really glad she did. Her illustrations immediately caught our attention with striking color palettes, rich textures and layered storytelling.

She describes her art as a blend of nature, Art Deco influences and social themes, often infused with a touch of Ukrainian folklore for an added narrative dimension. Before transitioning to digital illustration, she explored traditional art forms like painting, sculpture and bas-relief. She’s since built an impressive career, working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Lighthouse and Spectra, as well as earning international accolades like the Indigo Award and Cheltenham Illustration Award.
