Bold Letterform Experiments by Brunoverart
Published Mar 31, 2025
Bruno Vera, an Argentinian graphic designer and lettering artist known as Brunoverart, took his first plunge into the celebrated 36 Days of Type project a couple of years back with this striking black-and-white alphabet. He fully embraced the freedom of this global design challenge, crafting each letter with its own personality while focusing on a unifying theme: pushing the limits of letterform morphology.
His self-imposed rule of avoiding consistency resulted in a collection where each letter feels surprising, distinct and alive. The alphabet was hand-drawn before being polished in Adobe Illustrator, giving it a fluid, organic nature that’s full of charm.
Having graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, Bruno now calls Barcelona home, where he focuses on editorial design, branding and lettering. You can check out more of his work on Behance and Instagram.
