Bold Colors & Surreal Forms: Illustrations by Pavle Ciric
Published May 14, 2025
Pavle Ciric is a Serbian illustrator and graphic designer with a playful and distinctive style. His work is characterized by vibrant colors, warped figures and forms, and surreal elements.
Pavle’s process starts with a lot of sketching and scribbling in his notebook, letting his ideas flow naturally until he finds the ones that really click. Once he’s got something solid, he turns to digital tools like Illustrator and Photoshop to transform his quirky concepts into unique digital pieces. He loves how working digitally lets him tweak and play around with his designs, giving him the freedom to fully express his vision without any constraints.
When it comes to inspiration, he says he finds it in the act of creating itself, as well as in music, movies and other art forms. He describes his work as a meditative process, a therapeutic way to process the world around him. While his style is playful and light-hearted, his art is always packed with meaning, capturing whatever mood or questions he’s pondering at the time.
If you like Pavle’s unique style, you can see a lot more of his work on Behance and Instagram.
