Bold, Bouncy Lettering Creations by Mickt Flior

Brazilian-born illustrator and multidisciplinary designer Mickt Flior has a real talent for turning words into bold visual pieces. Alongside her commercial design and illustration work, she creates expressive lettering art filled with warped forms, inflated curves, vivid color combinations and tons of personality.

Mickt never treats type as something that simply sits on the page. Her letters stretch, twist and overlap, sometimes taking on glossy 3D surfaces, grainy textures or hand-drawn imperfections. Her compositions are often surrounded by stars, flowers, cartoon faces and other playful details. Her portfolio spans chunky bubble lettering, loose scripts and sharper, more angular forms, all with the same energetic visual language.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro and now based in the US, Mickt has worked as a designer since 2016, moving from a background in UX into illustration and multidisciplinary creative work. She has participated in the Association of Illustrators mentorship scheme, was one of the winners of The Design Kids Awards, and has collaborated with clients including Adobe, Google and Walmart.
