Awesome Alternative Movie Posters by iannocent

Indonesian illustrator Ian Permana, better known as iannocent, created a cool series of alternative movie posters that reimagine some of cinema’s most iconic worlds through his own visual language. Drawing from films like The Lord of the Rings, Dune, Blade Runner and The Wizard of Oz, Ian distills each story down to its core, then rebuilds it with bold colors, intricate lines and a strong sense of atmosphere.

His compositions are packed with swirling clouds, oversized creatures and surreal landscapes. There’s a strong graphic rhythm running through the work, with layered textures and flowing contours guiding the eye across each poster. Even familiar scenes feel fresh, as Ian leans into mood and symbolism rather than literal recreation.

Working across both traditional and digital mediums, Ian has spent more than a decade refining his imaginative approach. That dedication, paired with his unique style, has earned him a massive audience on Instagram, where he now has more than 167k followers.
