A Warm Identity for Chef Patrícia Nery by Matheus Vignoli & Guilherme Lopes

Brazilian designers Matheus Vignoli and Guilherme Lopes teamed up to create an inviting new identity for chef Patrícia Nery, a culinary professional known for more than a decade of experience in high end cuisine. As Patrícia expanded her practice into bespoke menus for intimate celebrations, she wanted a look and feel that could reflect the intention and craft she brings to every dish.

The designers centered the identity around a stylized typographic signature, tailoring the letterforms to feel both light and assured. It feels personal without becoming ornamental, giving Patrícia’s name a graceful weight that anchors the entire system. Around this signature, the visual language unfolds through warm tones, elegant serif typography, and photography that treats each plate or drink as a sculptural object.

Organic shapes introduce rhythm and movement, hinting at the sensory flow of cooking while adding a contemporary edge to the layouts. These forms appear across posters, stationery, packaging and large scale applications, creating a sense of cohesion without rigidity. Matheus and Guilherme describe the identity as “a way to connect food with feeling.” And it works, capturing the duality at the heart of Patrícia’s work: refined technique and heartfelt care, presented with a modern touch.
