London-based studio Spy was responsible for the unique wayfinding system and gorgeous branding for Theatre Royal Plymouth, the largest regional theatre in the UK and leading promoter of performance in the South West.
“The wayfinding required a holistic approach due to the complexity of the regeneration project and collaborations with BAM and BDP.
The steel signs are a result of experimentation with material and folded shapes. These form a physical manifestation of the graphic patterns, whilst being sympathetic to the brutalism of the building.”
