Seaworthy Vodka Branding by Squad Ink
Published Feb 26, 2016
Sydney-based studio Squad Ink worked in collaboration with Archie Rose Distilling Co. to produce this unique spirit “born to serve the Bloody Mary”. The vibrant branding that goes with it was inspired not only by the cocktail, but also the beautiful Australian seaside.
“Seaworthy’s unique flavour profile is navigated by the native Australian botanicals of Saltbush (tastes like the sea), Dorrigo Pepperleaf, Lemon Myrtle and Coriander seed. The complex currents of sweet and spice come together to create an intriguing spirit worthy of your ultimate Bloody Mary.
To mimic the scars of erosion from sea spray, we used a gunmetal silver foil throughout the labels, which we weathered and distressed. The bottle is housed in an understated craft box which sits inside a cotton net bag – channeling a sense of mystery akin to that of a long lost package that has been swept ashore.”
