One-Way Colour Tunnel by Olafur Eliasson

Published Jan 12, 2015

A true master of light and colour, Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson produces mesmerizing works of art that play with the viewer’s perception of space.

“As visitors move through the passageway, they observe the fluctuating effect of light and reflections created by the colour-effect acrylic and acrylic mirrors. On one side, the tunnel’s triangular panels seem completely black; from the other end, a multicoloured spectrum shines through, changing as the viewers walks by.”
