East London-based artist Lucy Evans combines watercolour painting and pencil drawings to create beautiful whimsical scenes.
“My work is about the viewer being able to lose themselves in a moment of fascination and curiosity. To be mesmerised by a combination of intricate mark making and surreal conceptual content. I like to allow the audience to work out the narrative for themselves or to interpret the imagery in their own personal way. I am heavily influenced by music and beautiful, ethereal things.”
