Floating Freaks: Illustrations by Mathijs Vissers
Published Aug 9, 2016
“Floating Freaks” is a series of haunting characters created by Dutch artist Mathijs Vissers for Threadless’ “The Occult” contest.
“Through photomanipulation of public domain images, some of my own images, some illustration and some photoshop magic I created a series of haunting portraits. A freakshow-inspired selection of creepy characters, all with their own terrifying facial features.”
The first design ‘The Visionary’ ended up winning the Occult contest.”
— Mathijs Vissers
