Comic Book Street Lamps by Turn Me On Design
Published Jan 10, 2014
Canadian lighting design studio Turn Me On Design recently created these fun street lamps shaped like comic book speech bubbles, as part of a project called IDEA-O-RAMA.
“The display plates are changeable, allowing for different themes according to the seasons or events. The lamp lights also change colors throughout the night, ensuring they are visible to pedestrians and motorists.
Graphic designers Astro and Jean-François Poliquin were behind the designs, which were created to reflect the identity and energy of the area, and to bring some color and cheer to the people and surroundings.”
