Army meals plated as fancy dishes

“From MRE to Michelin” is a collaboration between New York chef Chuck George, Jimmy Pham and photographer Henry Hargreaves (previously), featuring military food plated as if they were served at a Michelin-rated restauraunt.
“MRE (Meals Read to Eat) are military combat rations provided to soldiers in the field of duty. Due to their unappetizing taste they have earnt the nickname ‘meals rejected by everyone.’
With this project we wanted to reimagine the meals and plate in a manner of a Michelin starred meal. In essence, taking the worst food, provided to the bravest people and visually elevate it as if it were being served in one of the world’s most revered restaurants.”
