“A Marcenarita is a sophisticated woodworking company, based in Brazil, and most of its customers are architects and furniture designers. To engage its target audience, we have designed a visual identity that relates to the business activities and expresses the concepts of transformation and creativity. Just like in the woodworking processes, the basic shapes of the logo are recombined in different arrangements, producing multiple spacial structures. Apart from the geometric icons, the logo is also composed by a regular typography that references to handwritten glyphs, expressing the technical accuracy connected to manual processes. For the stationery, rustic and uncoated materials interact with an expressive colour palette. All of these elements were brought together in a dynamic brand system that keeps a strong sense of unity, is recognizable and linked with the essential goals of the company.”
